Russell got promoted!
Things are starting to look up for him! He worked really hard for this.
Hannah broke the news, on Sunday night, to Claire about the boarding school. She didn’t take it very hard, she actually got excited! She ran straight to the computer and began working on her writing skills.
She wants to be able to make a good impression on her teachers when she gets there. Maybe this time she’ll come out ahead?
Hannah decided that she wanted to send Claire off to boarding school. She felt bad for not educating her enough in her toddler years, but now she wants her to have the best school education at LeFromage Art School. She turned off the computer and sighed; Maybe caring for the animals would be easier now?
Uh oh!
Russell got demoted!
I’m not sure how his relationship with his work got so low, I think when Hannah got a few days off for Claire, Russell thought he would to.
Then he got a call from work telling him that they would fire him if he missed one more day!
He jumped back on the ball but, having a baby is stressful and he always went to work in a bad mood. His boss thought it would be better if Russell were demoted to Paper Boy. A simpler job.
Claire is now a toddler! :D
She has her father’s brown hair, and, thankfully, her mother’s beautiful violet eyes.
I hope that this unique trait will stand strong throughout the generations!
It was Claire’s birthday!
Hannah decided to throw a party for the little heiress, and invited their only family friends, Russell’s parents.
Russell’s mother was the only one to arrive though.
Things were awfully hectic;
Claire was in hysterics, with a hungry belly and a smelly diaper; Hannah attended to her every need, and of course, it took hours.
Russell did his best to charm his mother, he even filled her in on a few family secrets, and how he was helping to continue on the Clementine line and make it stronger and greater.
She of course, loved this idea, and congratulated him on his participation in trying to become part of a noble family line.
After a few hours of chatting, she had to leave, just before Claire was about to age up!
So, the party ended up being lame. Hannah blamed herself, and was a bit bummed after the “party.”
